Refund Policy

Overview

ASignal is committed to a clear, fair refund policy. We want you to feel confident trying our platform, and we have structured our billing to give you meaningful protection - especially on annual subscriptions.

This policy applies to all ASignal Signal Plan subscriptions processed through Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments handles all payment processing and billing on our behalf.

Free Trial

3-Day Free Trial

Signal Plan only

New Signal Plan subscribers receive a three (3) day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period from your account settings. If you cancel before the trial expires, your account will revert to the free tier and you will not be billed.

If you do not cancel before the trial period expires, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged the applicable monthly or annual fee at the start of your first billing cycle.

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account settings. There is no minimum commitment period.

Upon cancellation, you will retain full access to all Signal Plan features until the end of your current billing cycle. At that point your account will revert to the free tier.

Monthly plans are non-refundable. Because you can cancel at any time and keep your access through the end of the billing cycle already paid for, partial or full refunds are not offered on monthly plans. Example: if you are billed on the 1st and cancel on the 15th, you retain access through the end of that month but do not receive money back.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Annual plan subscribers are entitled to a full refund if requested within 14 days of the original purchase date.

To request a refund within the 14-day window, email [email protected] with your account email and purchase details. We will verify eligibility and process your refund promptly.

After 14 days: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable beyond the 14-day guarantee window. However, your access to all Signal Plan features continues for the full annual term you have paid for. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings so you will not be charged again at the next renewal date.

How to Request a Refund

Refunds are handled by email. Cancellation is self-serve in your account settings; refunds require a quick manual review so we can verify account ownership and eligibility.

Please include:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of purchase
  • A brief reason for the refund request

We respond within one business day and, for eligible annual subscribers (within 14 days of purchase), process the refund immediately via Dodo Payments.

If you only want to stop future charges (not get money back), you can cancel yourself at any time from Settings › Billing › Cancel subscription. Your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

All billing and payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments may appear on your bank or card statement as the charge descriptor. When we approve a refund, Dodo Payments initiates the return to your payment provider - the 5-10 business day window reflects standard card network processing times and is outside our direct control.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been initiated. If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of that confirmation, please contact your bank before reaching out to us.

Exceptions & Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us directly at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider or bank.

Chargebacks initiated without prior contact with us can result in: suspension of your account, ineligibility for future refunds, and delays in resolving your issue - as chargebacks require a formal dispute process that takes significantly longer than a direct resolution.

We are committed to resolving all legitimate billing concerns quickly and fairly. In most cases a direct email to [email protected] will resolve the issue within one business day - far faster than a chargeback process.

The following are not eligible for refunds outside of the stated windows:

  • Monthly subscription charges for billing cycles that have already commenced;
  • Annual subscription charges beyond the 14-day money-back guarantee window;
  • Charges where the account was used to access paid features during the billing period;
  • Charges resulting from failure to cancel before a free trial or renewal date.
